Now, I know that nowadays, Green Day has changed quite a bit from what they used to be. They've taken more of a political standpoint through their music. However, Green Day used to actually produce music, believe it or not. Actual, music that you could listen to without wanting to jump off a building. I know my enemy, and it's any song of of 21st Century Breakdown. Green Day, back in the day, were an amazing and energized band who just didn't give a @*^#. Of course, they were hopped up on drugs, but hey... what good rock star hasn't been at one point? This is my all time favorite Green Day song sans "Longview", and I don't think many people now know how great this band used to be. I posted this because I've been in a sort of Green Day mood and when I watched this video, it's just comforting to remember what has been. Their stage presence alone in this video is pure Green Day and it's absolutely fantastic. Side note - they are still excellent in concert and I will not take any credit away from them as far as that's concerned. I still love the band, I'm just very anti- "21st Century Breakdown."
